Shakira has appeared to make a thinly veiled swipe at her ex Gerard Pique and his new girlfriend in leaked lyrics from her upcoming song.
The Colombian singer, 45, has teamed up with producer Bizarrap on a brand new track, Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions #53, which is set for release today.
The leaked lyrics reportedly say, “I’m too big for you” in what appears to be a swipe at her ex Pique, 35, and his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.

According to The Sun, the pop star then belts out “I’m too big for you, that’s why you’re with someone just like you”, which fans have interpreted as a dig at Pique’s budding relationship.
Other lyrics reportedly include, “This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn’t sting, I won’t return to you any more even if you cry or beg me.
“I understood that it’s not my fault that they criticise you, I only make music, sorry that I splashed you.”

The high-profile former couple, who split in June, share two sons: Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven.
At the time, Shakira was dealing with a major tax fraud lawsuit in Spain while simultaneously being locked in a legal battle with her ex over custody of their children.
Shakira spoke to Elle shortly after Pique was first spotted with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti. In the candid interview the singer said the last few months have been “the darkest hour of my life”.

Following her high-profile split from husband of 12 years, Gerard Pique, Shakira has thrown herself back into music releasing a number of songs with South American artists.
Bizarrap, a popular Argentinian producer is reportedly a powerful force in the Latin pop culture and music scene. Fans are highly anticipating the star power of the collaboration between the producer and the Colombian born singer.
