Ricky Martin’s representatives have denied allegations that led to a temporary restraining order against the star, who has not been charged with any crime.
Police said Saturday that a judge had issued the order against the Puerto Rican singer, but authorities trying to serve the order were unable to find him in the Puerto Rican town of Dorado where he lives.
The order was filed under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law and police spokesman Axel Valencia told AP he could not provide further details, including who requested the order.

Representatives for Martin described the allegations as “completely false and fabricated,” People magazine reported. It did not name the representatives.
“We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated,” they told the magazine.
El Vocero, a Puerto Rican newspaper, said the order states Martin and the other person dated for seven months.
The report quotes the order as saying they broke up two months ago, but the petitioner says Martin did not accept the separation and has been seen loitering near the petitioner’s house at least three times.

“The petitioner fears for his safety,” El Vocero quoted the order as saying.
The newspaper also reported that the order states that “the petitioning party demonstrated that there is a substantial possibility of immediate risk of abuse” and orders Martin to “refrain from approaching, harassing, intimidating, threatening or in any other way interfering” with the petitioner, or calling, texting or contacting them by email or on social media.
AP has not obtained a copy of the order.

According to El Vocero, the restraining order will expire on July 21, with a hearing also set for that date.
Martin has been married since 2017 to artist Jwan Josef, who he first met on Instagram, after discovering his work.
The two share a son, Renn, 3, and a daughter, Lucia, 3. They also raise Martin’s twins Valentino and Matteo, 13, who were born from gestational surrogacy before he met Josef.
Neither Martin nor Josef have commented publically about the restraining order.
