Rapper Coolio, who died of a suspected cardiac arrest in September, did not leave behind a will, it has been revealed.

His former manager Jarez Posey, known as ‘Jarez’, has instead begun the legal process of having the late Gangsta’s Paradise rapper’s estate appraised heading to probate court on his behalf.

As reported by Page Six, according to court documents obtained by The Blast this week, Coolio’s seven adult children are listed as his next of kin and will likely be the beneficiaries of his estate.

It is currently estimated his estate, which includes “personal property and demand deposit accounts, financial accounts, insurance policies and royalties”, is worth $US300,000 ($450,000).

The Hit ‘Em High performer was reportedly visiting a friend in Los Angeles when he died at the age of 59.

Posey confirmed the news to TMZ revealing the rapper went to the bathroom and never returned.

Shayne and Kate are twins. Darius, Artis and Milan were reportedly snapped performing on stage with their father three years ago.
