[ad_1]

The nominees for the 80th Golden Globe Awards were announced on December 13.

Favoured Oscars contender The Banshees of Inisherin led the film categories, with nominations including best musical or comedy film. It stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

Meanwhile, Brendan Fraser scored a Best Actor nomination for his comeback film The Whale, despite vowing to boycott the January 10 ceremony – hosted by Comedian Jerrod Carmichael – after he previously accused one of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s former presidents of sexual assault.
