After eight years of marriage, the pair are undeniably in love.
George and Amal appeared together just this week as George accepted a lifetime achievement award at the 2022 Kennedy Centre Honours ceremony in Washington, DC.
The event annually honours a select group of people for their artistic influences on American culture.
On the night, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris attended, as well as a suite of famous faces.
Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Sheryl Crow were just some of the celebrities in the audience, along with the Clooneys, who as per usual, played a dazzling part.
Amal’s gaze to Clooney on the red carpet sums up the night for the pair, which saw George’s best friend, Roberts, and his father, Nick Clooney, share some touching tributes to him on stage.
AP reports that Nick Clooney took to the stage to tell stories of a young George, including the time the 7-year-old, heartbroken over the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr in 1968, gave his father all his toy guns.
Near the end of his speech he added, “George’s best and most important work is still ahead of him.”
