General Hospital star Jack Wagner’s son Peter has broken his silence following the death of his brother, Harrison, over the weekend.
Harrison Wagner was found dead in a car park in Los Angeles, California on Monday morning, according to Page Six.
Peter shared a carousel of photos to his Instagram of childhood memories with his younger brother, alongside the caption “Always with you.”
Harrison’s father, Jack, who starred in TV series including General Hospital and Melrose Place, has yet to comment on the death of his son.
Earlier this week, General Hospital‘s executive producer Frank Valentini tweeted well-wishes to the family on behalf of the show.
“Our hearts go out to Kristina Wagner, Jack, and their family during this devastating time,” he tweeted on Tuesday, June 7. “We ask that you respect their privacy and keep them in your thoughts.”
According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, Harrison’s cause of death is still being investigated.
“The cause of death is deferred,” a spokesperson for the L.A. Coroner’s Office told People. “Deferred means that after an autopsy, a cause of death has not been determined and the medical examiner is requesting more investigation into the death, including additional studies.”
“Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and makes the cause of death determination,” the statement concludes.
The actor’s son has struggled with addiction in the past, though it’s unclear whether this is linked to his cause of death.
Back in 2016, the actor tweeted: “I fear for my youngest son’s safety. Harrison has struggled w drugs & alcohol just as I did when I was younger. He’s relapsed & is MIA 5 days.” Harrison was found a day later.
Jack and his wife Kristina Wagner, 59, also share a 31-year-old son, Peter Wagner. Jack is also a father to daughter Kerry Wagner, whom he shares with another woman.
