Former Wiggles star Emma Watkins looked stunning in her gown at the 2022 ARIA awards, but it seems the beloved Aussie entertainer made it to the event just in time.
Speaking to 9Honey’s Lucia Hawley, Watkins said that her dress’ designer was still doing last-minute touches at the eleventh hour.
“This is from a Sydney designer Johanna Johnson, and she has been sewing me in at the last minute,” the 33-year-old said on the red carpet before spinning around in her dress.

Johnson herself was one of many who praised Watkins on Instagram.
“Stunning gal – inside and out. ✨✨🧡🧡✨✨,” the designer commented on a photo the former Yellow Wiggle posted from the red carpet.

Needless to say, Watkins handled the potential wardrobe issue like a seasoned pro. After all, this was not her first ARIAs, so she has some tips and tricks up her sleeve for surviving the night.
“I think it’s about keeping a low pace of energy until you need it because it’s a long night,” she said when asked about survival tips.
