Reeves once again has chosen to act with kindness.
Twitter user Andrew Kimmel documented the actor’s sweet act after he got off a flight from London to New York City on July 5 and an eager young fan spotted him.
“A young boy asked for an autograph at baggage and then began to fire off a series of rapid-fire questions,” Kimmel wrote alongside a photo of Reeves with a baggage trolley, signing something with a pen as a young boy wearing a face mask looked on. “Keanu happily responded to every single one.”
Kimmel then proceeded to recount the conversation for his Twitter followers.
According to Kimmel, the boy asked Reeves why he was in London (filming a documentary), and brought up the Formula One Grand Prix.
“Kid: I saw online you were at the Grand Prix (pronouncing the x), KR: Yes, the Grand Prix (in a French accent, without correcting him). F1! Race cars!” Kimmel recounted, saying the boy asked Reeves if he drove, to which Reeves responded, “Not F1, but I like riding motorcycles.”
The boy then asked Reeves if he lives in New York (no, Los Angeles) and how long he was going to be in New York (four, no, five days), why he was in New York (going to see a Broadway show), what Broadway show he was going to see (American Buffalo! Mamet!), and where he was staying (Midtown).
“By this time the kid was running out of questions, so Keanu started grilling him 🤣” Kimmel recounted. “Why were you in Europe? What galleries did you go to in Paris? What was your favourite?”
Kimmel said Reeves “could not have been nicer,” especially considering he had just stepped off an international flight.
“I thought I’d share this because the dude is a class act and little moments like this can make such a big difference in people’s lives,” Kimmel concluded. “We need more Keanus!”
